One of the seven wonders of the world, the Canaima National Park is the largest park in Venezuela, reached by a flight of about 2 hours from Caracas, and from just under 1 hour flight from Ciudad Bolivar, Puerto Ordaz and Santa Elena to Uairen . Declared World Heritage by UNESCO, has an extension of 3,000,000 hectares and is located south-east of the Orinoco River. 'S National Park meets the highest waterfall in the world, with a jump of about 1.050mt (SALTO ANGEL). Canaima is the ideal place to contemplate a spectacular, exuberant, inimitable jungle; impetuous current froth reddish precipitate in the seven waterfalls of the river Hacia, and the reddish sand and fine river Carrao.
The Canaima Lagoon is one of the major destinations of international tourism, but it is also the starting point of the most exclusive adventures that you can enjoy a primordial Venezuela, where the equatorial forests dominate the landscape and every path you go is a continuous discovery and an adventure in the green button and the planet.
Canaima is connected to the rest of the country only by air, with flights departing from Caracas but there are tour operators that organize flights also from other major tourist destinations such as Los Roques, if you want to disconnect from the "monotony" of the reef .
Canaima is located on the homonymous lagoon, a huge basin lake formed by the river here Carrao that slows the road after a spectacular waterfall and wide that winds between a series of islets.
The entire area around Canaima is characterized by several waterfalls, all of modest height, but the really powerful flow that Rendena for this very spectacular. CANAIMA A 'THE VIP
Day 1 = CARACAS / CANAIMA
On time and place to be determined (usually in the morning performance), a meeting with our local representative and transfer by private car at the airport to board the flight home direct to Puerto Ordaz or Ciudad Bolivar. Arrival, meeting with our local representatives and transfer to the camp chosen. Lunch and time to admire the scenery, to say the least it seems that great before our eyes, between the lagoon of Canaima with its banks of white sand-rosada the five majestic waterfalls and face the lagoon on the background of the extraordinary vision tepuy .
Around 14:30 excursion to visit the lagoon of Canaima with jumps Sapo, Sapito, Ucaima, Colondrina, and finally Wadaima ACHA where you come from inside the waterfall for a thrilling experience. Ale around 17:30-18:00 hours back to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 = CARACAS / CANAIMA
Full board at campamento. Full day free to relax on the beautiful white beach of the lagoon, with an option to purchase on-site excursions. We recommend travel F / D at the base of Salto Angel.
Day 3 = CANAIMA / CARACAS
1st breakfast area and time available for shopping, provided in the local bazaar, products artiginali local, or even for a relaxing sun bath on the beach or even for an invigorating dip in spelndide reddish waters of the lagoon. Hours by arrangement (dependent on destination and weather conditions), transfer to airport to board the flight to Caracas via Puerto Ordaz or via or Ciudad Bolivar. Upon arrival to coincide with scheduled flight direct to Caracas.
