Guatopo

Guatopo is an important ecosystem, protected by a thick rain forest in a very well-developed forest area east of Caracas. The vegetation of the park is varied with a number of huge trees by the peaks of almost the sky, at least 40 meters high, complete with palm trees, ferns and orchids. The varied topography of the land, as well as the heavy rain in the summer months, have contributed to the richness of the natural park. The park was created in 1958. has over 1225 square kilometers of land, a mountain with an altitude of this natural habitat, which varies from 200 to 1430 meters above sea level. The climate is generally hot and humid, and you can find and explore the multitude of insects. The other animals in the park are several species of mammals, such as the jaguar, the puma, armadillos, and tapirs. We find several species of birds but also species of poisonous reptiles which pay particular attention.
