La Gran Sabana
Located in the Canaima National Park, the beautiful green expanse of the Gran Sabana, covers about 3 million hectares to the south east of Bolivar State, about 1000 kilometers from Caracas.
The capital of the region, Santa Elena de Uairen, founded in 1923, has about 14,000 inhabitants, is surrounded by wonderful tepuyes and is only 15 km from the border of Brazil, which has the border as the first Brazilian village called "La Linea". Visiting the region of Guayana, means making a journey into a world of great natural wealth of beauty. Enter a world of mystery, of forest, savannah, rivers, jumps and waterfalls that give the wonderful world of Guayana.
Gran Sabana The program provides a route by car 4x4 of around 800 km from Puerto Ordaz and / or from Ciudad Bolivar to get to Santa Elena de Uairen.

Travel to Gran Sabana? Day 1 = CARACAS / Puerto Ordaz or Ciudad Bolivar / GREAT SABANA

Day 2 = GREAT SABANA

Day 3 = GREAT SABANA
After breakfast, around 08:00 hours to visit the border with Brazil to about 15 minutes by car.
