Los Llanos
Located in a depression in the center of Venezuela, between the Andes, the Cordillera of the coast and the Massif Guayanese occupies all 'approximately one third of' whole of country. Is a great plain formed for the most part by the overlap of material transported by rivers that originate in 'the surrounding mountainous area. This is the world's oldest in Venezuela with deep traditions, among which shows the love for music, singing and dancing, the "jaropo", a typical dance of the Llano, accompanied by instruments like the harp, the " cuatro (guitar with 4 strings) and "marcas". The climate, with an average annual temperature of 27 °, is based on two seasons: the rainy (May to October) with high heat with high humidity, the drought (November-April), with milder temperatures and dry climate . The scenario changes completely the Llano in these two seasons, in fact from an area flooded during the rainy season, we move to a dry land-dry during the drought and, given that the Llano is rich in fauna silvestre occurs in the second period will see a variety of animals ranging all'abbeverata in the few pools of water that remain active, along with a variety of types of birds.
