Canaima
Una delle sette meraviglie del mondo, il Parco Nazionale Canaima è il più grande parco del Venezuela, raggiungibile con un volo di circa 2 ore da Caracas e da poco meno di 1 ora di volo da Ciudad Bolivar, Puerto Ordaz e da Santa Elena di Uairen. Dichiarato dall’UNESCO patrimonio dell’Umanità,ha una estensione di 3.000.000 di ettari e si trova a sud-est del fiume Orinoco. All’ interno del Parco Nazionale si incontra la cascata più alta del mondo, con un salto di circa 1.050mt (SALTO ANGEL). Canaima è il luogo ideale per contemplare una spettacolare, esuberante, inimitabile foresta vergine; impetuose correnti di spuma rossastra che precipitano nelle sette cascate del fiume Hacia, nonchè la sabbia rossastra e fine del fiume Carrao.
La laguna di Canaima è una delle grandi mete del turismo internazionale, ma è anche il punto di partenza di avventure più esclusive che possono farvi assaporare un Venezuela primordiale, dove le foreste equatoriali dominano il paesaggio e ogni sentiero che si percorre è una scoperta continua ed una avventura nel polmone verde e pulsante del pianeta.
Canaima è collegata al resto del paese unicamente per via aerea, con voli che partono da Caracas ma ci sono tour operator che organizzano voli anche dalle altre principali località turistiche come ad esempio da Los Roques, se si vuole staccare dalla "monotonia" della barriera corallina.
Canaima si affaccia sull'omonima laguna, un enorme bacino lacustre formato dal fiume Carrao che qui rallenta la sua marcia dopo una spettacolare e ampia cascata che si snoda tra una serie di isolette.
Tutta la zona intorno a Canaima è caratterizzata da numerose cascate, tutte di modesta altezza ma dalle portate davvero poderose che le rendeno per questo molto spettacolari. La più famosa è senz'altro il Salto Ucaima che fa da sfondo omnipresente alla vita del villaggio di Canima, ed è uno dei più fotografati del Venezuela. In realtà la cascata è suddivisa in tre settori, gli altri due prendono il nome di Salto Golondrina e di Salto Hacna.
Lo stesso fiume Carrao forma altre due caterratte, che si trovano sulla sponda opposta rispetto all'insediamento di Canaima, il Salto Sapo e il Salto Sapito. Quest'ultime sono raggiungibili via barca, mentre una bella passeggiata può condurre al Salto Ara oltre il quale il fiume Carrao prosegue il suo corso più placidamente, senza ulteriori dislivelli.
Se siete giunti a Canaima è probabile che la vostra meta sia però la Auyantepui e più precisamente il Salto Angel, la cascata più alta del mondo, un volo di circa un chilometro di acque che si gettano dai 2500 m dell'altopiano per proseguire la loro corsa verso la valle del fiume Orinoco.
In funzione del vostro budget potrete secgliere se effettuare una escursione via terra, utilizzando barche e percorsi nella foresta e dormendo nelle amache (richiesti almeno 3 giorni), e arrivare alla base della cascata, oppure di compiere uno spettacolare volo panoramico intorno all'Ayuantepui e vedere il getto d'aqua che nebulizza man mano si precipita a valle. Se potete compiere tutte e due le cose il vostro ricordo del Santo Angel sovrasterà tutte le vostre emozioni turistiche precedenti...

CANAIMA A’ LA VIP
1°giorno = CARACAS/ CANAIMA
In orario e luogo da stabilirsi (normalmente nella presta mattinata), incontro con un nostro rappresentante locale e con macchina privata trasferimento in aeroporto per imbarcarsi sul volo domestico diretto a Puerto Ordaz o Ciudad Bolivar. Arrivo,incontro con i nostri rappresentanti locali e trasferimento presso il campamento prescelto. Pranzo e tempo a disposizione per ammirare lo scenario a dir poco fantastico che si prospetta davanti ai nostri occhi, tra la laguna di canaima con le sue rive di sabbia bianca-rosada,le maestose cinque cascate fronte laguna e sullo sfondo la straordinaria visione dei tepuy.
Intorno alle ore 14:30 escursione per la visita alla laguna di Canaima con i salti Sapo, Sapito, Ucaima, Colondrina, Wadaima ed infine ACHA dove si entra sin dentro la cascata per una esperienza entusiasmante. Intorno ale ore 17:30-18:00 rientro in campamento per la cena e il pernottamento.
2°giorno = CARACAS/ CANAIMA
Trattamento di pensione completa al campamento. Intera giornata libera dedicata al relax nella bella spiaggia bianca della laguna,con possibilità di acquistare escursioni in loco. Si consiglia l’escursione F/D alla base del Salto Angel.
3°giorno = CANAIMA / CARACAS
1^ colazione al campo e tempo a disposizione per lo shopping, nel fornito bazar del luogo, di prodotti artiginali locali, o anche per un rilassante bagno di sole sulla spiaggia o anche per un tonificante tuffo nelle spelndide acque rossastre della laguna. In orari da concordare (dipendente dai luoghi di destinazione e dalle condizioni metereologiche), trasferimento in aeroporto per imbarcarsi sul volo per Caracas o via Puerto Ordaz o via Ciudad Bolivar. All’arrivo coincidenza con volo di linea diretto su Caracas.

Mi esposa y yo estamos en caracas y tenemos desde la tarde del 17.09 hasta mediodia del miércoles 22.09 y deseariamos ir a margarita y canaima (salto del angel). Es impotante estar en caracas el 22.09 antes de las 14.00 porque volvemos a españa. Si fuera posible que me cotizara se lo agradeceria. Queremos vuelos, estancia y excursiones que me sugiera.
